Screenplays

Like most songwriters, my home is littered with little pieces of paper with unreadable scribblings of song ideas; gum wrappers, post-it notes, envelopes, etc. A while back, I noticed that I was accumulating a rather large pile of scraps that were actually more suited for movies than for songs. So I yielded to the obvious and wrote a couple of screenplays;

My latest screenplay "Memorial Day" is currently entered in several film festivals around the country. Wish me luck. I have had a lot of good feedback from people across the country. I was especially concerned that the work be acceptable to civil rights organizations that are dealing with the 1921 Tulsa Riot reparations (the subject of the screenplay). I am very proud to say that I have received many favorable responses from the people on the front lines in the fight to bring accountability for the injustices done during that horrible event. (wow.. what a long and convoluted sentence). Though I won't post it here for now, if you would like a copy of the screenplay, just email me.

The Driver PDF Word A Hollywood production company shows up to film a movie in rural North Texas. Who is that beautiful woman making "clouds" in her window all night and why does Alec Baldwin need a '99 Corolla?

Murdering America PDF Word All radical artist Morgan Harvey wants to do is make art and get laid... after all it's 1967, the summer of love. Then the richest man in town ends up dead. Or does he?

Oh yeah, I was also an extra in a few movies; Born on the Fourth of July, My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys and Offerings... so if you ever need to contact Tom Cruise, Scott Glenn or Gary Busey, just let me know.... right.
